Size Guide

Start With the Product Page

Use the size chart and measurement notes for the specific item you are considering.

Sizing can differ between styles and brands, so a letter or number you wear in one item may not represent the same measurements in another.

This guide explains how to measure. It is not a universal size chart or a conversion table.

Measure Your Body

Use a flexible measuring tape over light clothing or underwear.

Stand naturally and keep the tape level, close to your body, and comfortably snug without pulling it tight.

Ask someone to help if you find it difficult to keep the tape straight.

Bust

Measure around the fullest part of your bust, keeping the tape level across your back.

Waist

Measure around your natural waist, usually the narrower area of your torso. Keep your body relaxed.

Hips

Measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat with your feet together.

Inseam

If the product chart requests it, measure from the crotch down the inside of your leg to the intended hem position.

Consider the shoes and length you plan to wear.

Read the Chart’s Measurement Method

A body measurement describes the person wearing the garment.

A garment measurement describes the item itself.

Follow the chart’s labels before comparing numbers.

For a flat garment measurement, lay a similar item you own flat without stretching it.

A width measured across the front is not a full circumference. Double a flat width only when the product’s instructions specifically call for that comparison.

Check the stated points for length, sleeve, shoulder, and waist measurements.

Choose With the Whole Item in Mind

One inch equals 2.54 centimeters. Keep your measurements and the chart in the same unit.

Consider the stated cut, fabric stretch, lining, and your preferred amount of room. No measurement alone guarantees a particular fit.

If you fall between sizes, compare the relevant measurements rather than automatically choosing a larger size.
